Terms of service
The free layouts
Your 8 personalized layouts are free and are based on Griffo's own templates, filled with the details and logo you provide. They are not custom design. A custom layout is a separate paid service.
Your information
You are responsible for checking every detail on your card, including spelling, names, phone numbers, emails, websites and addresses. We print what you give us and we don't change it. Where something doesn't fit, we may move it to another position or to the back, or suggest a different layout.
Your logo
Logo quality affects print quality. If your file is too small, blurry or damaged, we'll tell you, and we may recommend a better file or a paid cleanup or redraw. We may simplify or prepare your artwork for production. We keep your original file unchanged.
Finishes
- Gold Foil Press is foil and a pressed (blind) impression applied to the same element.
- Gold Foil Press, and Blind Press on its own, are limited to a maximum area of 20 mm × 40 mm. We scale your artwork to fit without distorting it.
- Thermography (raised ink) must be placed on a separate element from any Foil Press or Blind Press area.
- We may prepare separate production files for foil, blind press, raised ink and ink. These are internal production files.
- Some fine details may not suit a finish. If so, we'll tell you and may suggest another option.
- Finish previews on screen are simulations. Physical material and lighting can create slight differences.
Prices, payment and production
Prices are shown before you commit. If a configuration is not covered by our standard prices, we'll review it and give you a price before you pay.
Production begins only after both complete payment and your approval of the final artwork. Standard turnover is counted from that point: 7 days for The Barong Tagalog and The Black Card, and 4 days for Presentable Cards. Rush production is not available.
Approving your artwork
Before production you will see a final proof and confirm that the information, layout, spelling, contact details, finish areas and order specifications are correct. Any change after approval needs a new proof, and may need a new quote. If production has already started, a change may not be possible and may need a new order.
Revisions and custom design
Small corrections to your free layouts are free. A purchased custom layout includes 2 revision rounds. Asking for a completely different design, imitating an unrelated reference, redesigning your logo or adding major new graphics counts as new custom work.
Cancellations and refunds
Orders may be cancelled before design or production work begins. Once custom design work has started, design fees are non-refundable. Once final artwork has been approved and production has started, orders can no longer be cancelled or refunded for changes of mind. If Griffo makes an error or the finished product does not match the approved order specifications, the issue will be reviewed for an appropriate correction or reprint.

Files and ownership
- Free layouts are for viewing and choosing. They don't include production files.
- When you order, you receive your final approved artwork and order proof, and you can reorder your design.
- Foil, blind press and raised-ink plates and internal finishing files stay with Griffo.
- Rights to the source files of a custom design depend on the design package you purchase.
- You confirm that you have the right to use the logo and artwork you upload.
- We keep your approved artwork so you can reorder later.
